you may or may not have heard about borax. it kind of sounds like something you would want to stay away from. but this naturally occurring powdery white mineral is basically salt mined from repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate, borax is a popular green cleaning ingredient and it comes in a cardboard box! this is your golden ticket to cleaning your entire home!
